‘Shiro’ means head and ‘Dhara’ means flow. Shirodhara is a form of Ayurvedic therapy by pouring a gentle stream of medicinal oil, milk, or buttermilk on the forehead to stimulate the pituitary gland. By working on the cerebral system, this treatment helps to improve the senses and relax the nervous system.
